These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Dashcam Map website and services (the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

The Service allows users to upload and view dashcam videos and associate uploaded media with geographic locations on a map. The Service is provided “as is” and may change over time.

2. Eligibility

You must comply with all applicable laws when using the Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

3. User Content and License

You are responsible for the content you upload, including videos, titles, descriptions, and location data (“User Content”). You represent that you have the rights necessary to upload your User Content and to grant the license below.

By uploading User Content, you grant the Service a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, distribute, display, and perform your User Content for the purpose of operating, improving, and promoting the Service.

4. Prohibited Content

You may not upload or share User Content that:

• Violates any law or regulation.
• Infringes intellectual property or privacy rights of others.
• Contains harassment, threats, or hate content.
• Includes doxxing or encourages wrongdoing.
• Contains malware or attempts to disrupt the Service.

5. Safety and Legal Disclaimer

The Service is not a substitute for law enforcement, emergency services, or professional advice. We do not guarantee the accuracy of map pins, timestamps, or any User Content. Use the Service at your own risk.

6. Removal and Moderation

We may remove User Content or restrict access to the Service at any time if we believe it violates these Terms or may cause harm, without notice.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill arising from your use of the Service.
